Secret Outlast-Do a Deo Dance

I was very excited to get this product in my SpringVoxBox thanks to Influenster.

It is very hard to find a deodorant that works and does not leave stains on your close. Living in the big city and having to travel on the bus and travel the temperature rises without you knowing and it can be very embarrassing. I am always looking for a deodorant that would work.

Then I got the Secret 24 Hour Outlast in my voxbox from Influenster so I gave it a try. When I took the Secret out of the box I noticed how good it smells. It’s has a floral smell which I love. The deodorant itself is clear so it goes on clear and stays clear, it also doesn’t feel sticky or gooey. I was very impressed with this deodorant.

I did not have to worry all day about being dry and smelling fresh.

Tastykake® Kandy Bar Kakes

I was lucky enough to receive the Spring Fever VoxBox from Influenster. This is a great program that allows you to try products and review them.

Most of the products are beauty but I did receive a delicious one it was TastyKake

Tastykakes Kandy Bar Kake in peanut butter flavor.

It was made with real flavors from Hershey, each light and fluffy cake is smothered in rich chocolate and features a different type of filling. The peanut butter used in my cake is from Reese, so I knew it was going to be yummy. The other flavors currently in this line are peppermint, featuring the flavor of York Peppermint Patties, and S’More featuring the flavor of Hershey’s cocoa.

The peanut butter cake I received was quite good. The cake was light and moist, the filling rich and creamy and the chocolate coating didn’t overwhelm the taste buds like many do. Most bakeries skimp of the filling of their snack cakes and overload the consumer with an oily, chocolate coating to make up for it. Tastykakes strikes the right balance between outside and inside. My only complaint was that the peanut butter filling was a little light for my personal taste. Normally I complain of a peanut butter overload, but my Kandy Bar Kake was just a little too light for me personally.

I will keeping it stocked in my cabinet.

Welcome Back Soaps-All My Children & One Life to Live

For the past year and a half fans of two of the long lasting soap operas have been without their soaps. All My Children and One Life to Live have been off the air for that time. Now thanks to the Internet I bring exciting news the two soaps are back.

Since 1970, All My Children has resolved around the lives of the people who live in the town of Pine Valley. The town is famous for the lengendary Erica Kane. The show has been around for over forty years. One Life to Live centers around the town of Landview and famous families. It is great to have these classics and it is great to have them back. I have checked out the sneak peaks and it is going to be great. All links are listed below for you to check out.

Well these shows are about to return on Monday, April 29, 2013. They will premiere on Hula, and will also be available on Hula + and iTunes for on the go viewing.

These shows are off network so their content is adult oriented more than before.

This is one product that is worth the price. It is from Simple Human and it the newest technology. If you have had trouble putting your makeup in the past this will be the mirror that you fall in love with. The first thing is the mirror is nice in size. It also has the perfection magnification so you can see your entire face; so there is no need to move around adjusting. The lighting is fabulous, you can do it in the dark if you had to. The next thing may be the best there are no wires, you only have to charge it overnight and it lasts a long time. Finally all you have to do is move close to the mirror and it goes on that is the sensor part of the technology.

It makes quite a statement on your vanity and a wonderful addition to your makeup rountine. It does retail for $200, which might seem like a lot but it is well worth it. It is an investment in your routine that will make things easier.

Pasta Recipe

Here is a recipe that I am using Nakano for

8 oz. uncooked pasta
1 can (14-1/2 ox.) diced tomatoes in juice, drained
¼ cup. NAKANA Seasoned Red Wine vinegar Italian Herb, or Seasoned Rice vinegar
1 Red Pepper
¼ cup chopped basil
2 TBl. Olive oil
½ tsp. Each salt and resh ground pepper
1 clove garlic, minced
1 c. (4 oz.) crumbled feta cheese

Cook pasta as package directs; drain and keep warm.

In a large bowl, stir together tomatoes, rice vinegar, basil, oil, salt, pepper and garlic. Add pasta and cheese; toss well.

Serve warm or at room temperature.
